Come learn about the wide diversity of mushrooms in the Presumpscot region, the ecological role that fungi play, and how to identify some common Maine mushrooms on this two hour walk led by Alan Seamans, a Maine Master Naturalist and member of the Maine Mycological Association. This event will be in the southern portion of the Mill Brook Preserve - a new location for a mushroom event - so we hope to find fungi in a wide variety of shape, size, and color.

Whether you are a pro or don’t yet know the first thing about fungi, this walk will be educational and a great opportunity to slow down and take a look at the beautiful details that are so easy to miss in the forest.
